It needs updating ! Even a coat of paint would be nice and make it seem cleaner! New carpet and a chair plus headboard on bed would have made us more comfortable !

There were no end tables by the bed. I pulled a chair over. I had the only room with out close parking. It wasn't too far , but behind building where I enter in the front.. People were always taking my closest spot and I had to park down the street.

Awesome property. Stephanie and the rest of her team were great. Cottage was clean, TV had great reception and lots of cable channels. Air/Heat worked fabulous. First Time visiting Port Austin and moving forward Lakeside Motor lodge will be a yearly vacation. Couldn't have been a better trip.

My stay was good, but had a few bumps. In short, the broken toilet seat needs to be replaced. You sit, you get pinched. Secondly, the faded cottage numbers need to be a little more visible or even marked on front by the door. My second day I got back from a beach day to a neighbor inside my cottage saying I was at the wrong cottage. He swore mine was his, until he walked around to look at the cottage number facing the street. Those little adjustments would’ve made the stay closer to five stars.
