The country house is located in Tauplitz, in the heart of Styria, surrounded by impressive mountain landscapes of the Salzkammergut – a place where tranquility, comfort, and alpine charm come together. In autumn, the region reveals its most beautiful side: warm colors in the forests, clear mountain air, and breathtaking panoramas invite you to hike, relax, and enjoy nature.

In winter, Tauplitz transforms into a fairy-tale snow landscape. The Die Tauplitz ski area, spread across three different mountain peaks (Mitterstein, Lawinenstein, and Schneiderkogel) with the renowned Tauplitzalm, offers 43 km of perfectly groomed slopes for beginners and advanced skiers, with descents of up to 6 km, as well as cross-country ski trails and winter hiking routes. What makes this area special is its location on a sunny plateau at an altitude between 896 and 1,965 meters. This allows you to often ski above the tree line, with panoramic views of, among others, the Dachstein and the Totes Gebirge. After an active day, you return to the warmth and coziness of the country house, where you can relax in comfort.

The nearby lakes such as the Tauplitzsee, the Steirersee, and the Krallersee, along with the Ausseerland and the picturesque villages, make the region special, offering beautiful views and unspoiled nature.
