Everything was prepared with great care, with special touches in every detail — from the salad dressings to the marmalades. Beyond the excellent food, we felt warmly welcomed from the moment we arrived. And the gentle musical atmosphere created by the owner added warmth to our stay

Leider war mein Aufenthalt sehr enttäuschend. Das Hotel wirkte unorganisiert, das Geschirr beim Frühstück war nicht sauber und das Frühstück selbst war chaotisch und lieblos. An der Rezeption war kaum Personal vorhanden, und der allgemeine Service ließ stark zu wünschen übrig. Insgesamt entsprach das Hotel in keiner Weise dem Standard, den man erwarten darf.

Es war zwar ein kurzer Aufenthalt aber sehr sehr schön und ganz familiär. Wir haben wieder einen wundervollen Menschen (Besitzer des Hotels) kennengelernt. Er ist sehr herzlich und mega bemüht. Angekommen haben wir als frisch Verlobte das Hochzeits Zimmer bekommen :-) . Das Hotel ist zwar nicht mehr auf dem neusten Stand …aber daran wird kräftig gearbeitet . Gratis aufs Haus gab es auch noch einen sehr leckere Sekt . :-) Die Lage des Hotels ist grandios . Sehr sehr schön .:-) Wir kommen gerne wieder! …und sind gespannt welche Ideen bis dahin weiter umgesetzt wurden .

Il nuovo gestore, per altro piuttosto simpatico, ha candidamente ammesso che non ha nessuna esperienza di gestione di strutture ricettive, e la cosa era visibile sotto vari aspetti: saponi e shampoo mezzi vuoti e diluiti, orari e cibo per la colazione piuttosto aleatori... Per fortuna la stanza era pulita - anche se non é stata fatta nessuna pulizia né rassetto dei letti durante il soggiorno ( 4 giorni ) La struttura é valida, le camere grandi e ben esposte, ma sarebbero necessarie alcune riparazioni, e sicuramente una gestione più professionale

The hotel is perfectly located at the top of the town, just a few minutes’ walk from the Black Forest hiking trail. The rooms offer beautiful views of the surrounding greenery. The owner, Ingolf, truly cares about sustainability and has decorated the hotel with this in mind, while still staying true to its original character. Ingolf is an exceptionally kind and welcoming host. When he learned that my wife is a designer, he personally showed us details around the hotel that might be of interest, and we had a really enjoyable conversation. The atmosphere feels very different from a standard hotel – it’s warm, friendly, and personal. Although we arrived much later than the official check-in time, Ingolf came quickly after we reached him through the booking website and welcomed us with a smile. Breakfast was excellent and exactly what we wanted. We feel very lucky to have discovered this wonderful place and would definitely recommend it.
