This holiday flat is in a secluded location in the southern Harz mountains, just 2 km from the town of Bad Sachsa on the Katzenstein, above the fairytale park in Märchengrund, with a view of the "Harzfalkenhof" bird of prey park and at the foot of the Ravensberg with its winter sports centre.

The 60 m², renovated and modern flat is located on the first floor of a restored half-timbered house. It offers a large living room with dining table, large (48") satellite TV, CD and DVD player. The bedroom has a double bed (1.80 m x 2.00 m), the children's room has a cot (0.90 m x 2.00 m) and a large bunk bed (0.90 m x 2.00 m each). There is also a fully equipped kitchen with cooker, dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment, various coffee machines, blender, toaster and kettle. The bathroom features a bathtub, mirror cabinet and integrated shower. There is also a separate toilet and a hallway with a wardrobe. Bed linen is provided and towels are available for stays of 4 nights or more (please bring your own for shorter stays). Internet (WLAN) is also available free of charge.

In the fenced outdoor area (3300 m²) there is garden furniture with parasol, a brick barbecue, a children's playground and a lawn for sunbathing. A men's and a women's mountain bike can be hired directly from the owner. You can also park your car on the property.

Directly from the property you can access an extensive network of hiking trails, with which several stamp points can be reached and which also lead directly to the town of Bad Sachsa.
