The hostess was incredibly gracious and well informed of the area. Had a welcoming and helpful attitude. Recommendations for the area and very knowledgeable! I was concerned when we got the room at the top of the stairwell that we would have to deal with noise from other people going up and down, I was pleasantly surprised that it was not the case!

The lady that welcomed us was so nice and gave us excellent information about the town and surroundings. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The owner of the House which has been in his family for many years was also very interesting to talk to and had great information to share with us about our stay. I highly recomment the Telegraph House.

We stayed 2 nights at Telegraph House. The location is great and walking distance to some restaurants and has beautiful surroundings. The Motel is a converted older house and is charming. The sheets and the room were clean. The furniture is very dated and the amenities are minimal but adequate. Overall recommend this place as a good option in Baddeck.

This is a great property. Close to everything! The restaurant wasn’t open while we were there. There are lots of restaurants in the town and a cute (and delicious) coffee shop ‘Bean There’ I loved the front deck with all the tables for sitting or eating outside. Would have loved to have a couple of arm chairs in the room for sitting/reading and a slightly bigger table. Enjoyed our stay. It’s a beautiful town

I stayed in one of the rooms in the motel at the back. Nicely maintained original property. Staff were very helpful. There was some construction happening outside on the property that took up a few of the parking spots but didn’t pose an issue. Would definitely stay again.
