This home is set on a spacious wooded property, with optional access to a manual gate at the end of the driveway for added privacy & security. 🍳 Kitchen & Dining • A round dining table, open to the living room, seats 6 • A rectangle dining table, located in the kitchen, seats 8 • Kitchen bar seats 3 • Coffee bar with Nespresso (pods provided), sugar, creamer, electric tea kettle & tea samples • Instant Pot, air fryer, blender, toaster, and essential cookware & diningware Just beyond the kitchen, the family room invites you to unwind with a 75” smart TV, a large leather sectional, and a bookshelf stocked with books and games. 🛏 Sleeping Arrangements • Primary suite (downstairs): King bed, private full bath, French doors opening to the patio • Two downstairs queen bedrooms, one with an attached half bath • Bunk room: Queen-over-queen bunk with nearby full bath • Second-story suite: California king with private full bath, plus an adjacent home office with an electric sit/stand desk — ideal for remote work or business travel 🌲 Outdoor Amenities Step outside to enjoy: • Large back patio with seating • Black stone grill • Fire pit with seating & loveseat swing (firewood can be delivered for a $150 fee) • Two hammocks • Volleyball net & balls (set up & ready) • Large yard with portable soccer goals & balls A two-car garage offers easy access to outdoor gear and play space for all ages, as well as a 240 volt outlet that can be used for EV charging (charger not provided). 📍Prime Location While you'll feel miles away from it all, you are within 30 minutes from the best of the Triangle: Hospitals/University: (Duke Hospital, Regional Hospital, Duke University). Nature & Parks: (Little River Park, West Point on the Eno, Falls Lake). Events & Venues: (DPAC, Carolina Grove, The Barn at Stoney Hill). Dining/Nightlife: (Downtown Durham, Boxcar Bar & Arcade). The home is surrounded by woods, offering a very private, peaceful setting. Guests have access to the house, the immediate yard, and outdoor amenities (patio, fire pit, hammocks, games). The surrounding forest is not part of the guest area, and guests should not enter the woods or neighboring properties. Outdoor areas have natural surfaces (grass, roots, uneven ground), so please use caution and supervise children. I will provide you with any important details regarding your reservation via message through the app. You will have access to my phone number should you need to reach out urgently or run into any issues. The driveway has a manual gate. You’re welcome to lock it during your stay for added privacy—we’ll provide the gate code. You are not required to use the gate or lock up when coming or going. Regarding firewood: Guests may gather small twigs and branches from the surrounding wooded area. For those who prefer a ready supply, we can arrange a large load of firewood slabs to be delivered for an additional fee (currently $150).
