OVERVIEW
Points and Pines Hideaway is a cozy mountain retreat nestled in the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains in Bailey, Colorado. A 660 square foot cabin, PPH is an affordable option for travelers without sacrificing style and charm. Think "boutique hotel suite in the woods," complete with hot tub, views, and a charming escape vibe.
A tribute to the wildlife that inhabit the area, (there is a resident moose that often wanders through!) and the pine and aspen grove it sits in, this property was updated in 2025 as an ode to adventure. Located at the edge of the Pike National Forest, the owner designed the home with the spirit of bringing the outdoors in. (The vibe is similar to her other property called Wild Hearts Hollow, located in Paso Robles, CA.)
It's one bed (California King), one bath cabin with a pull out sofa/oversized Queen that comfortably sleeps 4 people. South-facing views on a brand new 40 foot deck and floor-to-ceiling windows are unparalleled in this corner of the world. The hot tub on the deck has 270-degree views that include Regal Lake to the east and the National Forest to the southwest. It has a side yard and is dog friendly. If you’re looking for a quiet basecamp in the mountains that’s close to year-round activities, this place is worth checking out.
GUEST-FIRST DESIGN
As well-seasoned travelers, we know what our guests like to see in their accommodations. For example, we offer outlets where you want them (next to each side of the bed, both USB and traditional outlets), luggage racks so you don't have to fully unpack, dog toys, poop bags, food and water bowls, and a bed for our furry friends, and more. As hosts, we believe our guests should be comfortable and worry-free while experiencing the quiet pleasures and peace that the woods offer.
