Welcome to your mountain getaway in Shawnee, Colorado! Perched on a peaceful hillside in a quiet neighborhood, this beautiful two-level home is framed by sweeping mountain views and large beautiful evergreen trees. It’s the perfect retreat for families, couples, or groups of friends looking to relax, explore, and recharge in the Rockies—just a short drive from Bailey and a little over an hour from Denver.

The main floor (upper level) is designed for both comfort and connection. A wall of windows in the living room immerses you in the mountain scenery, whether you’re sipping morning coffee, curling up with a good book, or gathering for great games and discussion with your group. The dining area is perfect for meals together, and the fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare anything from hearty breakfasts to cozy dinners. This level also features two comfortable bedrooms and two full bathrooms, giving everyone plenty of space to unwind.

The ground floor lives like a finished walk-out basement and adds even more room to spread out. Here you’ll find a second living area, ideal for games, lounging, or giving kids their own hangout space. This level also includes a third bedroom and a full bathroom, offering privacy and flexibility for larger groups. Enjoy the Smart TV and fireplace down there too!

Towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are provided for guests.

From the months of November - March, a 4WD / AWD vehicle is recommended. The road leading to the home from Highway 285 is steep and can be challenging to 2WD cars in the event of snow.

The front door entrance for the home is up the exterior staircase on to the deck.

This front door is where you will enter your keypad code that has been provided.

It’s important to note that this home has two of the three bedrooms upstairs (on the main floor) which requires guests to navigate up & down a deck staircase outside or carpeted staircase inside with luggage & personal belongings. Please be careful & use handrails.

Roads and Parking: It's important to note that once you are off of Hwy 285, you'll be on a gravel road traveling up hill in the neighborhood up to the home. The driveway is also gravel.

Trash:
Trash gets picked up Tuesday morning. If you find yourself staying in our home Monday evening, please take out both black trashcans. You will need to pull the cans to the end of the driveway Monday evening. Trash is typically picked up early Tuesday morning. Feel free to leave the cans at the end of the driveway and dispose of your trash there when you leave.

TV & Internet:
The code for the Wifi is posted in the home. Keep in mind, due to our remote location, the internet may not function as quickly as it does in a suburban area. However, it is sufficient for standard streaming and internet usage. The TV in the basement has access to many streaming services. Please remember to logout of your accounts before you leave!

Do not pass on this beautiful home ! It’s hard to tell if a home is as described but to meet and exceed this place is it ! You won’t want to leave once you have stepped into this beauty and the views !!! The decor top notch , nice linens / towels luxury ! You will want to spend all day and eve on the incredible deck Notice the little touches that they have done to help you feel comfortable from the moment you open the door Hosts are very accommodating, helpful and quick on responses If you can finally tear yourself away for a bite to eat - highly recommend 2 Dads Eatery & Taproom on 285 Bailey - sit outside along the river - the pizza and French dip sandwich delicious!
