We blew our engine on Deadman's Pass & had to be towed into La Grande, OR. When I was able to call the Motel 6, they wouldn't cancel my reservation & didn't care that I was unable to call before 6 pm.

Eastern Oregon vacation

Basic room, microwave, no fridge, very hard plain chair with table. The beds (2 queens) were not that great for sitting on, but we slept extremely well! Huge counter top in the bathroom, only 1 sink. 2 bars of soap were all that is offered, but they also did not promise anything else would be included. AC was a little noisy, but once asleep, I did not notice it. No breakfast & no pool, but then they would have increased the rate. Very nice gazebo and mini golf. Food and gas are near by.
