The host was very responsive. We appreciated that coffee was provided. There was enough serveware for our needs. The full size frig and microwave were nice. The unit was nicely decorated.

I recently stayed in a 1 bed, 1 bath rental in Bakersfield and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The location was a bit farther from town than I would have preferred, but the newness and tranquility of the neighborhood made up for it. Upon arrival, I was greeted with coffee, snacks, and water, which was a thoughtful touch. The check-in process was smooth and secure, thanks to the fire code system in place. The only drawback was the absence of a couch in the living room. While this was clearly indicated in the photos, it did make the space feel a bit bleak and empty. However, it wasn't a major issue. In summary, if you’re looking for a quiet, modern place to stay and don’t mind being a bit farther from town, this rental is a good choice. The welcoming amenities and secure check-in were definite highlights, despite the minor drawback of the living room setup.
