Cosy Corner cottage is a one bedroom open plan retreat situated in a hidden peaceful corner of Baslow within a short distance to its stunning gritstone edge offering an opportunity for walking, wild swimming , rock climbing, cycling, sightseeing or just relaxing .
Cosy CornerCottage is tucked away in the picturesque village of Baslow in the heart of the Peak District and a short distance away from the famous Chatsworth House and Gardens.

There is unrestricted on road parking. However there is no need to drive anywhere with so many attractions literally within walking distance of Cosy Corner Cotttage . Making an evening or daytime stroll to Historic Chatsworth, Froggats Edge or the beautiful town of Bakewell an added photographic opportunity.

Baslow is spoilt by a choice of fine pubs and bars and only a short walk away from Cosy Corner offering hand crafted beer by a local brewery to award winning Michelin star restaurants serving fresh, seasonal food using local ingredients. It really is on your doorstop at Cosy Corner.

My parents booked this trip for me and my husband for a wedding gift. The cottage is absolutely stunning, just the perfect size for 2 people looking for a romantic weekend away ... we could have stayed longer if we didnt have to come back for work! Perfect as a base to explore the peak district, or even if you just want to stay in and cook a nice meal. Whole place is kitted out with everything you could possibly need, even conditioner in the bathroom! The place was immaculate and the photos really dont do it justice. Loved Cosy Corner, and will definitely be returning at some point. thank you x

A fabulous break in a fabulous area

Cosy Corner was indeed ‘cosy’ and had all the amenities necessary to make a super break. Very comfortable bed and pillows to ensure a good night’s sleep and lovely to enjoy an outside table in the sunshine. This is a great base for restaurants (loved Charlie’s) and Chatsworth. We would happily return.

Lovely character cottage

Cosy corner was very comfortable and well equipped. Thoughtful welcome pack left and other things such as dressing gowns, toiletries and flannels. It was immaculately clean and had a lovely character. The host was prompt in replying to queries prior to stay and very helpful.

Cottage is perfect for a stay for 2, Everything you need is provided along with some thoughtful extras. Ideally placed for a walking holiday and a visit to Chatsworth. Many places to eat within easy walking distance. Hardly needed to use our car.

Cosy Corner Cottage is a lovely cottage in a great location. It is indeed very cosy, well equipped and immaculately kept. Baslow has great pubs and restaurants and lovely walks nearby. It’s a lovely place to come to get away for a relaxing break. We love it!!

Gorgeous weekend away in a gorgeous cottage

Had the most relaxing weekend away in this beautiful cottage. Perfect locations for pubs, restaurants shops, walks, Chatsworth Christmas market and easy local buses to Bakewell. Liz was a fantastic host and helped so much. She recommended places to visit, eat and even provided us with takeaway options. The bed was super comfortable and I had the best 3 nights sleep I’ve had in a long time. (even going to copy the pillows and quilt). The Christmas market in Chatsworth was well worth a visit. Baslow is the perfect destination for a weekend away from the hustle and bustle. We will be back again for sure.

Relaxing cosy retreat

We had a wonderful stay at Cosy Corner cottage. It is a very cosy cottage but not at all cramped. The kitchen is well equipped and the lounge area a place to relax after a day walking. The upstairs bedroom and bathroom were also well planned out. We had a number of lovely walks diretly from the property and there are some really good places to eat in the town. We would particular recommend the Prince of Wales for food and The Devenshire Arms for a quiet evening drink. The local shop just round the corner sells general provisions as well as some locally sourced products. We would recommend this cottage to a couple wanting to enjoy a relaxing break in this lovely part of the Peak District and we hope to be able to return to this property in the future.

Cosy cottage was ideal, walking distance to some very nice pubs and restaurants and central location for touring. Lovely and clean and Liz was always on hand to help with any question. I would highly recommend the cottage.

Lovely, clean and pretty little cottage. Ideal for us 2 for our 5 night stay. Has all you need for 2. Only one thing missing was a tea towel. Parking never an issue, always a space. Would happily recommend.
