The house is equipped with all comforts .. !! It has TV with satellite receiver, washing machine, hairdryer, toaster, barbecue, towels, beach towels etc ... nothing really is missing ... !!! The bedrooms are located on the first floor in the attic. One bedroom has a double bed and the other two singles. Both bedrooms have two wardrobes and a neighboring bathroom .. !! Outside there is a large veranda, a large car park ... a garden with trees and flowers .. !!! In addition, the swimming pool is for the exclusive use of the villa always available. The garden is completely fenced and there are no dangers for children. Animals are not admitted.

Our stay was absolutely amazing. The hosts were fantastic and the villa was lovely. We had everything we needed for our week away. The pool was a really good size, we also had a table tennis table to use too. Would highly recommend to anyone. The town is beautiful and the locals were really friendly!

Quiet location… amazing garden and pool..

Owner Eugenio and wife Angela were the perfect hosts.. nothing was too much trouble.. arranged a friend to drive us shopping as we didn’t want to hire a car…recommended where to eat and drink..etc. Villa was beautiful so was the garden and pool. Highly recommend if you want to relax.. we even enjoyed the steep walk back to the villa after a few Aperole spritzers!!!

Great stay!

We had a nice time staying here. The only and biggest downside was the fact that the pool was out of order. Which we did not know (since it was advertised with the pool). So that was a bit unfortunate, other than that the place is lovely.

House with lovely pool

Villa Eugenio is a lovely house, close to the autostrada for trips and in fantastically kept gardens. We particularly enjoyed the lovely pool, which was always warm as well as the BBQ. The house is in a nice position with a view of the sea. The road leading to it is steep and single tracked, with few passing places, so easier with a small car! Angela and Eugenio met us at the bottom of the road on arrival to show us the way. They were friendly and helpful hosts, responding quickly to messages on WhatsApp. The aircon upstairs was helpful for sleeping. Great views from the big picture windows downstairs but they let in a lot of heat. None of the windows have mosquito screens so opening the windows to cool the house let mosquitoes in. My children and husband get bitten by mosquitoes a lot, so this wasn’t an option, so we found the ground floor very hot (obviously not a problem if mosquitoes don’t bother you). We would have spent more time outside in the evening, but there were too wasps for my kids (there was a wasp nest in the garden), probably due to the timing of our stay in August. We experienced a few power cuts (not unusual for Sicily) mostly short, but one lasted 7 hours. Eugenio came over really quickly to unlock the electric gates so we could get out, which was great. Worth noting that the water supply in the house relies on a pump, so we were without water for the 7 hours- although inconvenient, we managed, but it may be more tricky with young children.

Lovely Villa

We had a great stay at the villa, the pool and gardens are as good as the photos! The villa is clean and has everything that you need. We didn't spend much time inside as its so nice to be sat in the covered area when the garden is illuminated at night. Angela & Eugenio were great hosts they welcomed us and kept us updated. Eugenio keeps on top of the pool and garden but is always very discreet so you never know he's there. We all had a a great time. Thank you.

Couldn’t have wished for better

We were met by Angela and Eugenio at a pre-arranged location so we could follow them to the villa. The villa and gardens are exactly as portrayed in the photos - beautifully maintained and comfortable. They surpassed our high expectations. There was a lot of local information available and any questions we had were helpfully answered. Angela speaks English but despite some perplexed expressions at times we communicated well with Eugenio via Google Translate. If we had any problem, Eugenio was immediately on hand to put it right. The family couldn’t have been more attentive. We had such a good stay we really didn’t want to leave. We were treated to some spectacular electric storms to round it all off. You need a vehicle to stay here or it’s a hot trek into Balestrate to catch the bus to go anywhere. Take care as you drive on the single track road to and from the villa as other residents are prone to reverse very quickly out of the driveways without looking! If all villas were of this quality, choosing a holiday would be so much easier. Thank you Angela, Eugenio and Mama and Papa. We know where to come when we come back to Sicily.

Lovely stay

We had a fantastic time, Eugenio and his wife were fantastic. The property really is excellent and the pool is nice and warm. It was a bit of a distance (probably be 20 mins walk) to Balestrate, but we were lucky we had a hire car. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to go somewhere secluded.

Lovely spacious villa with amazing gardens.

We stayed here for a week last week, the property is excellent. Decorated really well, a lot of attention to detail especially in the outside area. Has everything you will need, with a lovely pool area. Agela and Eugenio were great hosts, they communicated well and came to meet us in the town to help and direct us to the property. The villa is in a gated estate, you have other 2 villas nearby which is nice to know you are not alone. I found the location itself a little bit awkward if you wanted to go into town for dinner or shopping. It's only 15-20 walk but in the night the route has no street lights so its is very dark and you feel unsafe walking back. The villa is surrounded by a rundown neglected area. If you dont mind driving all the time then it's no issue. Overall we have a great time, thank you.

Lovely villa amazing garden great pool

Great property very comfortable lots of space. Angela and Eugenio always available. Only downside is not quite walking distance to local shops and restaurants with young children but with a car only 5 mins drive. Also not too much to do locally so I would say a car is a must. Can’t fault the property though

A beautiful villa in a quiet location

We had a fantastic stay in Eugenio’s villa. We were met by Angela and Eugenio who couldn’t be more accommodating. The villa itself was spotless. The gardens were huge and had views of the mountains and the sea. Balestrate is a small town and walkable but down a very steep hill! If you are looking to stay in the area then we can’t recommend this villa highly enough!

Villa Eugenio

A lovely spacious property in a gorgeous setting.: views of the mountains, lemon, olive and mango trees, very secluded and quiet. Eugenio and his son were extremely friendly and helpful and responded very quickly to anything we needed. The weather was, as expected, a bit mixed initially, but soon warmed up, though the evenings were chilly. Eugenio kindly provided a gas fire and extra blankets for us as there is no heating in the villa. Balestrate is very unspoilt and ideally placed for exploring this beautiful and varied island. It was very quiet at this time of year and both driving and visiting popular places was a pleasure! We would like to return, but maybe in May as the pool is not available until then. A lovely holiday!

Tolles Haus in einem sehr schönen und gepflegten Park mit Pool und toller Aussicht auf die umliegenden Berge und etwas Meer.Gehobene Ausstattung mit gut ausgestatterer Küche und Espresso-Maschine. Zufahrt über 2 Tore geschützt - Grundstück Videoüberwachung. Sehr ruhige Lage, aber trotzdem nur 3 Minuten mit dem Auto in den Ort oder 5-10 Minuten zu den nächsten Stränden.

Sehr schönes Haus in ruhiger Lage direkt in Strandnähe

Das Haus hat alles, was es für ein Ferienhaus in Selbstversorgung braucht und mit dem wunderschönen Garten, Pool und der überdachten Terrasse perfekt zum entspannen. Man benötigt aber dringend ein Fahrzeug, um sich selbst zu versorgen und in der Umgebung Unternehmungen machen zu können. Sizilien in dieser Ecke ist allgemein in die Jahre gekommen und man merkt überall, dass viel Müll überall rumliegt. Dies muss man für sich einfach akzeptieren & ausblenden, da die Leute vor Ort einfach unfassbar herzlich und zuvorkommend sind. Angela und Eugenio haben sich prima gekümmert und waren für Fragen immer via WhatsApp ansprechbar. Vielen lieben Dank, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!
