Our home is THE place to stay while visiting Ballarat. It is perfect for group trips or just a quiet weekend away together.

Ballarat plays host to a selection of regionally based AFL matches. Here to cheer your team on? Mars Stadium is only a short stroll away!

House is sound and freshly painted & renovated, adequate furnishing, all be it that the main lounge has passed it's use by date, Beds were all fine. As for cooling, we have a problem, no coolers in bedroom end of the house and unable to open windows due to over painting was a huge problem, it was bloody hot on Tuesday and front room was in direct sunlight all afternoon. With great effort (tradie experience) we managed to unstick the bathroom and one of the front windows. Definite fans at least required and get the windows sorted would be a must for future summer customers in my book. On another minor level, the kettle is not a switch itself of when boiled type, we had a very steamy kitchen when we boiled it first time. Floors needed a better vac and mop as tiled areas in particular were not as should have been. Is it value for money? yes but as noted, a few areas can be better.

Weekend getaway

A perfect place to stay to access our meeting place, the North Start Hotel for dinner. Comfortable beds, quiet area. We really enjoyed our time in Ballarat.

Has a 2nd apartment at the back which was a little disruptive during the night, I notified the manager directly but never received a reply
