This stylish retreat in the heart of Connemara is perfect for romantic getaways or family adventures. Featuring 3 bedrooms and a cosy wood-burning stove, it comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests. Enjoy fabulous countryside and lake views from this bright, airy home base for exploring the beautiful Connemara hills.



Step into a stylishly refurbished, ambient, semi-open plan living space filled with natural light from large windows and patio doors. The living, dining, and kitchen areas are thoughtfully separated by a large, stone-fronted chimney breast housing a wood-burning stove, creating a warm and cosy atmosphere.



Living Area: A bright and airy space perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring.

Dining Area: Seats up to six guests and features sliding doors that open onto communal gardens with fabulous countryside and lake views.

Kitchen: A fully equipped kitchen with everything you need, including an electric oven and hob, toaster, and coffee machine.

Laundry: A washing machine is available for your use in the shed beside the cottage.

Master Bedroom: A peaceful room with a double bed and an ensuite bathroom with a bath and overhead shower.

Second Bedroom: A flexible twin room with two single trundle beds, which can accommodate up to four children.

Third Bedroom: Features cozy bunk beds, perfect for younger guests.

Main Bathroom: A second full bathroom with a bath and overhead shower serves the other two bedrooms.

Another pleasant holiday in this lovely house

Everything was excellent but we did feel the kitchen lacks some simple things like a teapot and bowls for a salad. Last year we bought egg cups and left them there so thankfully they were still there! A great house otherwise and well worth renting.

We had a really enjoyable stay at 9 Murlach Moorings in Ballyconneely. Mary was great and going beyond the call of duty taking our clothes in off the line to avoid a rain shower. It would only happen in the West!!! Thanks

Comfortable house in beautiful setting

We recently had a lovely stay in this beautiful part of the world. This house is tastefully presented and very comfortable with some nice touches like a Nespresso machine, good linen and towels. Only minor quibbles: we weren’t told the number of the house and I had asked for a note of what would be there and what wouldn’t in terms of basics but didn’t receive that. Would stay again.

Amazing stay in ballyconneely

We absolutely loved our stay in murlach moorings. The house was beautiful and so well decorated. The location is stunning with so many beaches to choose from. We will definitely be back to this house!
