This hotel is located in a retail development, where it seemed to be the neglected stepchild next to the shops and restaurants. It was hard to find the entrance and unclear where to park. The facilities were pretty run down: little things like the elevator call button not lighting, and big things like a half-demolished brick wall across from the entrance. The walls were very thin – the conversation in the room next door sounded like they were right there in my room. Finally, even if you’re hungry in the morning, skip breakfast. The positives: the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff were friendly. These are probably the 3 most important things for me, and they brought my rating up to 3 stars instead of 2.

The staff was courteous and we received especially great service by Heather. She was personable and made the check in process welcoming. Our daughter may be going to a university near and this will definitely become our home away from home when we visit.

The front desk personnel was rude and very impatient. Being a transient traveller who just wanted to rest after a very long day, and being greeted by unwelcoming front desk personnel is very disappointing. I have neen in plenty of Marriott hotels all pver the country and I have mever experienced like this kind of incident. I was told that there is botted water in the room for free but unfortunately there was none. I tried to take a shower after a long day, and there was no hair dryer. I called the FD to ask if there is one provided for the room and the staff said there is and again there was none. He said that he will check “downstairs” fpr one and will call me to pick it up at the FD. I waited for an hour ans still did bot receive a call. I am already on my pjs with wet hair and very tired. What a terrible experience in this hotel. Very sad.
