My sister and I had rooms on the same floor and my room was far more outdated than my sisters. The iron in my room did not work, there was a cloth (unsanitary) shower curtain compared to the glass door in my sisters bathroom, the refrigerator was dated and you can smell the carpet in the hallway the moment you stepped off the elevator.

I did not arrive for check-in until 12:30 AM. Employee at the desk was very friendly and accommodating. I went up to the room and when I opened the door, I noticed an undesirable odor, but it was late and I didn’t want to go through changing the room because I was very tired. I woke up in the morning and after I got dressed, I came back to the bedside stand and saw that there were ants in the bed, and that was very unsettling and disgusting to see house keeping came to the room quickly when asked, and as soon as they walked in the room, they said it was done the day before, and obviously not completely dried and was not a pleasant smell. I believe the supervisor of housekeeping, then came and also was very apologetic checking the room thoroughly and told us we should go to the front desk which we were going to do anyway
