Arrived late at the hotel on a cold and rainy evening, to find the room with the AC blasting at 68F. You can't control the heating because is centralized. I texted the number they gave me at the reception but there was no response or follow-up. So I had to let the room slowly heat-up (by morning it was already 72). One big advantadge is that the room is tiny. Extremely tiny. The positive side is I guess it does warm up faster as a result. My room was at the higher floor so the (warm) water pressure was very low - in case you consider warming up with a hot shower. And even after a few good minutes it was still lukewarm rather than hot - I wasn't able to get hot water. Parking was OK. Used the public parking across the street, for much cheaper rates than the valet at the hotel. The only inconvenience is extending the parking time, it seems that you can't do it online, you have to physically go back to the lot. Everything else, it was great. Also the room and the bathroom were very clean, I truly appreciate that!

Cool boutique hotel, the interior design throughout the hotel was very nice. Walking distance from the Amtrak station was convenient and Tuesday night jazz in Bloom’s, which is inside the hotel, was great!

I did not do breakfast. An entrance to facilitate patrons with luggage would be helpful in lieu of having to lift heavy luggage up the steep front granite stone steps. A grab-bar mounted on the shower wall also would be helpful to assist the elderly as I am.

Wonderful boutique hotel located in the heart of Baltimore, close to a wide variety of attractions in the Inner Harbor and Mount Vernon. If you are looking for an exciting unique experience distinct from typical hotel experience, this place is definitely worth a visit. The rooms, bar, and restaurant are classically elegant and beautiful. They don't have an onsite gym but a great perk is that you can use the gym at MV fitness which also provides a great unique experience - working out at a beautiful classical building. I would highly recommend this place.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating to all requests. Outdoor sitting area for smoking available and their lobby bathroom was always clean. Food was alright but there are great alternatives in the area. Water pressure for the shower was great and the bed was comfortable, a very cozy vibe.
