This was my third stay at Caribou Lodge, and yet again it was wonderful. From the moment I arrived, staff were helpful and friendly, helping with anything I needed or asked, which as a solo traveller is always reassuring. The room was clean and well maintained, bed and pillows comfortable - perfect after long days hiking and exploring the local area. The hot pool and sauna were also very welcome amenities after the hikes! Location wise, it's a 10 minute walk into the main downtown area, but it's an easy walk - or the Roam bus is just outside.

Excellent stay, very clean and quiet had a lovely room with a nice view. Staff were friendly and helpful. Check in and out was quick and easy. Hot pool was lovely after a long day walking around and the keg restaurant was very good too. I plan to return again next year!

The lodge is pretty good but the rooms you will see that it’s old. And they need to clean it better and put some deodorizer to the room, you can smell an old house from it; microwave and aircon. The small fridge is dirty. I would recommend that the lodge needs to provide slippers, rob, and some toiletries like the other hotel does. Because they are in a tourist spot I think they need to be competitive. Also needs to have a free breakfast for the guest that check in

we had a loft room with the Jacuzzi tub. Both were wonderful after the long drive and to have the separation if needed so people could sleep convenient to many restaurants bus stop nearby to go to Fairmont and the gondola.
