i gave my review as average instead of poor because the staff is so nice, no issues with parking and easy to walk to shops and dining, but the property seemed to be party central. of 6 nights, i only slept 2. on night 3 i was moved to a different room which was wonderfully quiet for 2 nights but the last night another group of party animals unfortunately moved in and occupied several rooms on the floor resulting in no sleep again prior to driving through a snowstorm to get back to the airport

Good place in Banff

Air Canada changed our flight so we had to scramble to find a reasonable place at the last minute--we were glad to find Irwin's! Had a nice stay, very helpful front desk, loved the hot tub, garage parking, and great location close to everything in town. Very comfortable place, easy to find on main street. Ski storage available. Bed was comfy but some loud people in middle of night. Security took care of it fairly quick. Warm and cozy during cold spell. Hallways carpet needed extra vacuuming, but understand it's hard to keep clean during busy ski season. Would stay here again.

This was our first stay in Banff and we were very disappointed in the shape of the hotel inside and it was extremely loud. The hot tub wasn’t the cleanest and our TV did not work the entire stay.

Good simple hotel

Irwin is a great simple hotel for a quick overnight. No issues. Not fancy, not low end. Just a comfortable place within reasonable walking distance from downtown
