Hotel Review: ASAI Bangkok Chinatown
I recently stayed at ASAI Hotel Bangkok and had a mostly positive experience with a few minor drawbacks.
Customer Service
I only interacted with the staff during check-in and breakfast. There were no issues—efficient and straightforward service.
I didn’t not like the fact asking you to sign a checkin form and authorising to disclose your information for marketing etc… by ticking the boxes. That would be a major problem If someone doesn’t know English.
Room & Comfort
I stayed on Level 7, facing other internal rooms, which made the room quiet and dark—good for sleep but lacking natural light. The bed was standard with average bedding, nothing exceptional. No toiletries were provided, which was a bit inconvenient.
The bathroom was a highlight—brand new, spacious, and comfortable. However, the toilet was not properly cleaned, which was disappointing.
The workstation was a good size, making it easy to get some work done. Air conditioning worked well, but the controls were faulty at times.
WiFi & Amenities
The WiFi was average in speed but reliable, which was sufficient for basic use.
Location
The hotel is located next to Chinatown, close to a small shopping mall and a train station. It’s not a luxurious or high-end area, but it’s convenient for exploring the city.
Breakfast
The breakfast was good enough—nothing extravagant, but it did the job.
Final Thoughts
Overall, ASAI Hotel Bangkok offers a quiet, comfortable stay
