This is by no stretch of the imagination a four star property. The food quality and choices was less than mediocre for breakfast, the room was sprayed with a terribly strong sanitizer, the terrace only had some wooden benches to sit on and was not true to pictures. This is definitely a 2.5 experience.

I stayed at this hotel for 5 days and appreciate its fantastic, walkable location, especially for shopping. It was extremely convenient, with the BTS National Stadium station just a 2-minute walk away. The staff was courteous and professional, adding to a pleasant stay. However? The unreliable WiFi was a major drawback. Out of my 5-day stay, it was down for 3 days, which was quite inconvenient. Overall a great stay. Will be back again 😃

The good and the bad

First of all, location was pretty good. Value-for-money accommodation for room type and locations. When we checked-in, SUPER friendly staff. Then came the lovely clean room which looked recently renovated. Don't expect 5-star. Good decent 3-start hotel. Next surprise? Free breakfast. I was expecting stale coffee and cold pastries but it was a full spread short of the egg-station. Then came the nasty bits. Shower mat was full of black stuff. Last day, there was a cockroach on the bathroom wall. These 2 were the biggest turnoff from the otherwise great experience of Bangkok. I had feedback with photos to the front desk but they didn't seem concerned with my feedback. I've stayed at other IHG properties without such issues.

It is a good hotel to stay in. Water pressure was not good as I was on the 23rd floor room. Breakfast was good but it was hard to find vacant tables. Breakfast room was small to accommodate everybody staying at the hotel.
