We stayed at the Kantary in Chiang Mai some years ago, and it was quite fine. This Kantary is very mediocre. We only stayed two nights, but that was enough to experience problems with aircon and housekeeping. Staff was very polite and personable, breakfast crowded and chaotic, definitely geared toward their major clientele which seems to be Chinese tour groups. Everything is a bit tatty and just a bit off. Room was spacious, internet lightning fast but disconnected frequently. We are frequently in that part of bangkok for business and wanted to try something new, but we’ll keep looking.

Old fashioned luxury

Old fashion but tidy and well maintained some really nice small touches that make it feel luxurious. It has everything you want here 3 malls within 10 minute walk and massage parlour and chemist next door don’t close until midnight :)

I checked in early November 2024 decided to stay longer than my anticipated time so I booked another nine days here and enjoying every day. Everyone is very friendly and helpful and is very quiet. Everyone in the hotel is amazing. The restaurant is amazing room service is amazing After I leave. I would probably come back here again and stay for a month or two thank you for the great service.
