Not all the facilities were open, the hydro pool which we wanted to try was closed. The breakfast on the second morning changed this to a four star rather than five star review. We were the only guests in an annex to the restaurant, no staff came to takeaway plates till near the end, hot drink order wrong. We felt that we had been forgotten about. The food quality is the same as most 4/5 star hotels. I came to the Salil with high expectations and left a little underwhelmed.

Everything was excellent, from the reception on the taxi and the check-in with Prim, to all the staff on the hotel restaurant for breakfast or dinner, Dom at the aquatherapy, and all the staff on the pool. I was speechless with the quality of the hotel, especially with the service of the staff that was always kind and helpful. The room is awesome and the location is very good, walkable to many things around, with very reasonable taxi distance to the main temples. I'll definitely recommend it for family and friends, and will come back.
