5 nights at this hotel. Small set-up. Just a simple room with basic amenities. Room was relatively spacious and good for 1-2 pax. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. The front desk staff can communicate in basic English. Check-in and checkout were easy. It takes about 45 min to the airport, arranged by the hotel lobby for 500 baht. Overall, very satisfied for the price I paid. Slight noisy as the hotel is near main road, but still tolerable and did not affect my sleep.

The room was poorly ventilated, we had a leak in the bathroom celling which we informed to the reception, they said the technician will go but he didn't. The bathroom was dampt, not to mention that it keept "raining" inside all night long, we were in the 4th floor, therefore the water was most likely from the toilet upstairs

I really enjoyed my time at UPAR and when I return to Bangkok I will be booking with them again. The room is nice, the AC works good and the shower water gets very hot. It is right off the main road in Silom and you have access to tons of restaurants and bars. It is also only a 5-10 minute walk to BTS.
