Welcome to Firefly Cabin by Out of Bounds Retreats. Firefly is a luxury couples retreat on 7 private acres. With huge windows in every direction, you’ll feel immersed in the woods. Stargaze around the fire at the base of a giant rock outcropping. Relax in the hot tub, sauna or swing bed on the lower porch.
Your cabin is just a few minutes from Blue Ridge Parkway, downtown Boone, the quaint town of Blowing Rock, Grandfather Mountain and so much more!

The cabin is one bedroom and one full bathroom. Upstairs in the loft you`ll find a cozy living area with games, books, yoga equipment and more.

You have access to the whole cabin and property except for the lot where our second cabin may house other guests during your stay. Many people hike around the mountain, following the old logging road at the top of the property. If you head up there and go right (or west), there`s a giant rock outcropping with an underground stream.
The cabin is on 7 acres in a quiet community of other cabins and easily accessed by car and just a few minutes away from shops & restaurants.

**As with most properties in the area, vehicles driving to this cabin need 4WD, good tires and sometimes chains in the winter months during snow fall/icy conditions. TRIP INSURANCE is highly recommended in winter months.
Many full time residents occupy the surrounding cabins and the one lane gravel road up to the cabin is easily navigable in good/non-icy weather. Chains can usually be purchased in the area though it’s recommended to buy them before coming. In icy conditions, please put them on before driving up our road.
**Refunds will not be given and dates will not be moved for weather related road conditions or utility outages. Due to the unpredictability of weather in the mountains, please buy trip insurance. We don’t want anyone to lose money.
**Pet fee is $85. Emotional support animals will be accommodated, though a pet fee still applies.
**Credit card fees will be deducted from any refunds for cancelled dates.

This cabin offers its guests a hot tub and a sauna. This cabin also features a garden and laundry facilities.
