For those craving outdoor fun beyond the slopes, the Buckeye Recreation Center is just a 15-minute drive away. Here, you can find hiking trails, a large playground, fishing, canoeing, and paddle boating. After a day of adventure, explore local dining favorites just 15 minutes from the cabin, or visit the charming town of Banner Elk, located a few miles down the mountain, where you'll find grocery stores, gas stations, and boutique shopping to round out your stay.

On The Rocks, the main house, is a one-of-a-kind retreat brimming with luxury touches and mountain charm. On The Rocks Straight Up offers high-speed Wi-Fi, central heating and air conditioning, and cable TV for your comfort and convenience. During the winter months (October to March), 4-wheel drive or all-wheel drive is strongly recommended, and chains may be required in snowy or icy conditions. Please note that pets are not permitted.
