Guest Access:

Guests will have exclusive and private access to the entire Highland Cottage for the duration of their stay. You are also welcome to enjoy the shared central courtyard, which features a stone fire pit and offers beautiful views of Grandfather Mountain. Please note the courtyard is a shared space with guests from the other two cottages on the property.

Getting around the Highland Cottage is easy! While a car is recommended for exploring the area, we offer free parking on the premises. For those flying in, the closest major airport is Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT), approximately a 2.5-hour drive away. Alternatively, Asheville Regional Airport (AVL) is about 1.5 hours away. Local taxi and ride-sharing services are available, but availability may be limited. The charming town of Banner Elk is a short drive, with local shops and restaurants within a 5-10 minute radius. Enjoy the convenience of exploring the High Country from our cozy cottage!

No Laundry: There are no washer and dryer facilities available for guest use in the cottage.

Perfect location for a family wanting to ski/snowboard

We had a wonderful time! Our family of 6 was very cozy in this sweet property. Everything you’d need to make a meal. Property management was easy to communicate with. Property was clean, orderly and ideal for active family wanting to enjoy the outdoors.
