The staff was incredible. There were times when I attempted to tip room service and they would return the tip later. I had to insist that they keep it. Honest as could be. Clean comfortable and accommodating. They even have vegan options on the menu. Definitely enjoyed the fruits and vegetables on the breakfast buffet as well. Incredible service from the on-site restaurant manager madam thank you!

The call to prayer sound was so loud it prevented us from resting. Moving rooms helped alittle but you can still hear ir. Ants in both rooms. Very little options for vegetarians although the dining staff are very friendly and try to accommodate. Aisha (supervisor)completely wasted so much of our time on a simple change to our reservation. Front staff dont understand English well. Manager was nice. Breakfast was pretty awful quality and mostly Indonesian. Most fried in oil or too sweet. Wouldnt stay here again.

La estancia ha sido estupenda!!! Todo el personal fue muy atento y amable!! Y sobre todo la chica de recepción, encantadora!!! La habitación muy cómoda y espaciosa. Very friendly staff

I stayed for 3 nights. The room needs more light especially in the bathroom. The window is not sound proof, a bit noise. The breakfast is not great but ok, standard menu. However the staff is very friendly and responsive. They are willing to help you.

Great hotel in Banyuwangi

Hotel Santika is a modern western style hotel very close to the centre of Banyuwangi city in East Java. The rooms sizes are quite spacious and the bathrooms are western style with quality fittings and quite spacious also. The aircon works very well, the beds are good and the rooms have a bar fridge, TV, safe and tea/coffee making facilities. There is a nice swimming pool with one shallower end partitioned off for children and the other for adults and lap swimming is possible (about 15m). There is a small adequate gym and towels are provided for use in the pool and gym areas.The hotel has a large restaurant and also an eating area and the food is good. The staff are very friendly and accommodating.

Great hotel

The Hotel was great - a nice room, Great dinner and breakfast and the pool is super nice to relax. If you ask really nice you can even use the pool the day you check out after 12.00. The only bad thing I could say is that it's close to a c street, but you can hardly hear it.

Good, short stay. Nice rooms.

The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. I just booked it for two nights to visit the Ijen Crater (which was amazing). The bed is comfortable and they have room service. Food is not that great. Staff's english skills were not always great, but we managed to communicate. There's a pool, but I didn't try it. Price/Value was good!

Average hotel with some disappointing specs

The hotel is very noisy as it is located on the main road in Banyuwangi. The staff was very helpful, although they do not speak English well and the communciation was cumbersome. They unfortunately could not manage to respond on our special diet request for breakfast (sent in advance). The hotel looks nice but the room was much more smaller than it looked on the photos and the air condition was a mobile one that did not work at all. The room was noisy till very late in the evening which did not make sleeping easier.
