Breakfast was more than adequate and buffet was one of the more elegant breakfast buffets I’ve seen. The hot entree selections were a little more limited than I expected (no breakfast potatoes? Also can’t remember if there was ever pancakes, French toast or waffles in 3 days I was there. And oatmeal most days was too thick and hard to spoon into bowl.) in spite of these minor nitpicks, I actually loved hotel and would definitely return.

Front desk staff was very kind and extremely helpful. Perfect walking distance to the main square while also not being too close. On site parking was a must and the lot felt secure. Easy access to the main road to head towards Acadia as well! I would 100% recommend staying here for anyone trying to make the perfect trip to Bar Harbor!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 day stay. The hotel is in a great walkable location, with comfortable well-equipped rooms, easy parking, genuinely friendly and helpful staff, and a number of lovely unexpected touches like afternoon cookies and chilled beer glasses. The Bar Harbor Grand Hotel is located in the perfect spot for visiting the shops in town, restaurants, and Acadia National Park! Except for the park, everything is in walking distance, including the Walking Path along the water. The staff thinks of lots of details, including a booklet of what to do on a rainy day, which was the day we checked out. They were very helpful and kind, tending to all our various needs with a smile. Bar Harbor Grand Hotel Was a great place for our four night stay and we’ll be back.

LOVE this gorgeous hotel!

Beautiful, clean, fantastic front desk service. Flavored water and amazing cookies available in lobby all day! Room was super comfortable and spotlessly clean. Conveniently located right in the middle of Main Street shops. Wish we could stay here for a week, LOVE this place!
