The staff was professional & friendly. Tge rooms were clean. The beds were comfortable. The motel is in a great location . I recommend the full lobster boil at the restaurant next door to the motel.

The hotel was quaint and charming and in a great location for all that Bar Harbor has to offer as well as close to Acadia. I would definitely stay there again.

This motel was great! It is within walking distance from everything in downtown Bar Harbor. The rooms were clean and spacious. They even had a small refrigerator and microwave. The lobby offers complimentary water, tea and coffee. They also offer complimentary snacks such as granola bars, fig bars and fresh fruit available 24 hours a day. We would love to stay there again on another visit to Bar Harbor!

Perfect for a quick get-away

This was the perfect place for the two nights we spent in Bar Harbor. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. The location was great and there was ample parking.

Hotel was just what we needed on a trip to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Located on the edge of town, it was an easy walk to where ever we wanted to go in Bar Harbor, but away from the busiest parts. Easy drive to Acadia.

Main Street Motel was perfect for our stay in Bar Harbor. Super walkable to the best parts of town. The staff was very friendly and helpful in providing recommendations for what to do. Parking was extremely easy with lots of options.

Pros for this property are its location, free parking, good air conditioning (it was in the upper 80s when we were there in August) free coffee, water and snacks, and nice staff. Cons would be the rooms. We had two double queen rooms, with next to no electric plugs, no door hooks or a desk lamp in one room, things left in the drawers in one bathroom, and the bathrooms just weren’t in great shape. It served its purpose for the 3 days we were there, but at $400 per room, I expected the rooms to look like the website photos. That being said, it was probably better than a lot of other places and you could walk to restaurants and the harbor without ever moving your car.

Great motel within walking distance of everything you do in Acadia/Bar Harbor. Close to bus stops, restaurants, Ocean walk etc. Quiet well cared for!

Very clean motel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our scheduled transportation from Motel back to Bangor airport didn’t show up. The hotel staff arranged for a last minute taxi ride with Sunrise 2 Sunset taxi.
