The property is located a few hundred metres from the ancient Roman road called Cassia, right outside the centre of Tavarnelle Val di Pesa, halfway between Florence and Siena, in the heart of Chianti and surrounded by the famous hills that made Tuscany renowned all over the world. Close to a Romanesque church dating back to the V Century, the property originates from the restoration of an ancient farmhouse preserving all the original Tuscan traditional characteristics such as the wooden beamed ceilings and terracotta floors.
Nestled in a green garden, where smell of lavender and roses combine in a unique fragrance, the property belonging to the Fusi family, has been divided in 6 charming holiday apartments with private pool ensuring relaxing vacations in the Chianti area to all its guests.
The 6 independent accommodations are located 4 in the hayloft and 2, together with the reception, in the main Villa. Each apartment is equipped with all the comforts, air conditioning, WI-FI internet connection, kitchen, oven, dishwasher and washing machine, and offers a unique view over the hills of Tuscany. Two of the apartments are completely on the ground floor, while the other four are on two levels.
Here you can enjoy a unique holiday in a farmhouse in Tuscany surrounded by nature but also within few kilometres from the town centre to take advantage of all the amenities.
ACCOMMODATION: the apartment "La Piccionaia" is the largest apartment in the property, decorated with taste and elegance and located entirely on the first floor of the main farmhouse. On the first floor there is a large living room furnished with comfortable sofas, that leads into the completely equipped kitchen with oven, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine at guest disposal. On the same floor there are also 2 bedrooms, one double and one twin and 2 bathrooms with shower.
Thanks to an easily accessible wooden staircase, situated in a corner of the kitchen, it is possible to reach the above floor, the dovecote or 'pigeon loft', originally used to host the doves and pigeons of the farm. Here is located the third room with twin beds.
From this space, typical of Tuscan farmhouse architecture, guests can enjoy a breath-taking view over the famous hills of Tuscany. Part of this apartment is also a little private garden with barbecue, table and chairs to enjoy the dinner and breakfast al fresco during the holiday. The apartment is fully air conditioning, it has mosquito screen, internet free wireless access, and tv satellite.
GARDEN & SWIMMING POOL: The garden has a carefully maintained well tended lawn with olive groves, flower bushes and rosemary. The swimming pool (8 x 16 meters) is equipped with sun umbrellas, chairs, sun lounges and sun beds. Each apartment has a covered terrace perfectly organized to have dinner outdoor. Some apartments also have a private terrace. The property offers the parking place within its grounds.
