Just 25 km from Cahors, this charming 100 m² stone house offers a peaceful escape in the heart of the Lot countryside. Built in traditional white Quercy stone, the home is surrounded by 3000 m² of private natural space and an additional 1200 m² of hilly terrain with woods and moors-perfect for quiet walks and wildlife spotting. A natural spring in the garden creates a shady, intimate spot for outdoor relaxation. The veranda and terrace overlook serene fields and forests, and the only sounds you'll hear are birdsong. Inside, the home features authentic Lotoise décor and a well-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, microwave, ceramic hob, toaster, and coffee maker. Pet-friendly amenities include bowls, baskets, and toys, making this a welcoming retreat for animal lovers. Explore nearby Cahors with its Valentré Bridge, Saint-Étienne Cathedral, and medieval ramparts. The pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela and the Abbey of Moissac (41 km) are also within easy reach. Een eenvoudig maar prima huis op een prachtige plek. Rust en stilte, maar ook dichtbij de bewoonde wereld voor boodschappen en restaurantjes. Helaas was bij ons na een aantal dagen de waterpomp kapot wat ook niet snel gerepareerd kon worden. Er was geen alternatief beschikbaar, waardoor onze vakantie vroegtijdig moest worden afgebroken. Dit lag zeker niet aan de eigenaar die werkelijk alles heeft geprobeerd om onze vakantie nog te redden. Willen zeker nog een keer terug.

We zijn zeer vriendelijk ontvangen door onze gastvrouw. De accomodatie was in echte Franse stijl, helemaal rustig op de buiten. Het was ook een goede uitvalsbasis voor wandelingen en de omgeving. We hebben genoten van de rust en waren ook aangenaam verrast omdat we in de laatste week uitgenodigd werden voor een aperitiefje bij de gastvrouw thuis. De lokale bevolking was ook zeer vriendelijk en uitnodigend. Een echte aanrader wie van rust en wandelen houdt!!

Gasrvrij versehen mit einem Bündel von Sonnenblumen und eine Flasche Wein. Ein authentisches Französisch Haus, aber so angepasst, dass Sie angenehm wohnen. Ein entfernter, ruhiger Ort, sehr schöne Landschaft mit vielen Wandermöglichkeiten. Montcuq ist ein schöner Ort mit einem sehr guten Angeboten Schwimmen (schöne Plan d 'eau). Der Zugang zum Haus (850 m) war schlecht im Frühjahr starke Niederschläge im Zusammenhang, Frau Yvette Baffalie ist eine tolle Gastgeberin. Ate eine leckere Pizza an l 'Ecole St. Daunès, auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen. Genug schöne Plätze in der Nähe zu besuchen (ua Cahors und Moissac) .overall hatten einen tollen Urlaub.
