No big deal about the breakfast its continental breakfast. The place is very nice, convenient, clean,safe. and the owner is very nice. The only negative is the wifi connection which is so minor..the connection is weak..Otherwise evrything was really excellent would stay there again..

The hosts were gracious, welcoming and made every effort to ensure a wonderful visit to Bari. The room was quiet, spacious, spotless and comfortable. Location was excellent: within walking distance of both the central train station and the old town. MARI Luxury Rooms and Suites was an excellent choice.

On arrival Giovanni welcomed us to his properties. First impression was nice! We arrived later in evening after a day travelling showered and then realised after reading other comments that things have not changed in regards to cleaning shower filters and we also had a flooded bathroom floor which is very dangerous. I pulled the filter out myself to show cleaner in morning and this allowed water to drain away. Breakfast next morning is not on site it’s a 2 min walk to Jerome cafe which we actually enjoyed a great selection of pastries. Arriving back at suites that evening we arrive to patio doors left wide open and bed roughly made but no cleaning in bathroom at all and the smell of drains. Giovanni was never around and did try and WhatsApp the number on reception door but never answered. Next day which was a Sunday out all day and arrive to find no housekeeping at all so yet again shower not touched all wer towels from first evening still laying on floor. Also not happy about sharing a fridge with other guests apart from unopened bottles of drink. Tea and coffee supplied but no sugar so never took advantage of this. Over all location great but as for daily housekeeping that didn’t happen and never saw Giovanni apart from check on not even on departure so left keys in box so hopefully he found them. Would I recommend ??? Yes if you don’tmind cleaninb up after yourself and cleaning shower filter every day. suites themselves are lovely but things need addressing

What a fabulous host. Giovanni and his daughter were so accommodating. We booked last minute and they were happy to take us in immediately. Great restaurant recommendations. Arranged taxi next day. Apartment was amazing wish we could have stayed longer. Perfect location in Bari City Centre. Highly recommend!

When we first arrived, there was toilet paper in the toilet even though the toilet had a seal on it. The lights in the vestibule automatically shut down, so when you come to your room at night, it's very dark until you turn the light on. There is no A/C in the lobby or vestibule areas, which makes it uncomfortable. The housekeeper didn't refresh our towels and placed towels we had left on the floor back on the bathroom hooks for us to reuse. The bedding is pretty much like a cheap motel's linens. The housekeeper didn't close our door after cleaning the room, leaving it open all day. They give your a coupon to use for breakfast at a nearby cafe where you can get one cup of coffee and one order of eggs. The cafe is pretty cheap looking and not very nice. When we complained, they did provide a breakfast in our room. The water does not go down the drain in the shower, leaving about an inch of water in the shower when you leave the shower. As noted by others and the owners, this is not a hotel, so don't expect much in the way of services. But even taking that into account, the amount they charge is quite high for providing very little (not even a decent reception to check in (it's their office on the side). On the plus side, it is newly renovated and is in a convenient location, although the block it is on has a funeral home and a vacant store on the corner.

Little Gem of a Place in Bari

We really enjoyed the stay at Mari Rooms & Suites. Giovanni and Martina have been absolutely wonderful and accommodating during our stay and visit to Bari. Location is great within proximity to old city - 10 mins walk to St Nicola Basilica and great restaurants, shopping and more. Definitely a place to come back to.

Newly built apartment, well decorated with style, fancy, in a building right in the commercial center of Bari, not to far from port and train station. Checkin a bit hard as it was not clear that the office/reception was next to the entrance to the apartment building. Depending from which side you arrive, you will either see this entrance or the office first... Some more info needed about breakfast place would be good, we were not sure where to go with the vouchers we received at checkin (vouchers should mention the bistro's name). Once we found the breakfast in a nearby bistro, it was really great though. Bistro is often very crowded, sometimes we had to wait a while for a free table. Cleaning staff just entered the room without knocking and/or waiting, but was very kind, should be a bit more delicate though to not provoke bad situations.

Excelente localização. Quarto novo e bem decorado!

Localização perfeita! Perto de lojas, cafés e restaurantes. O acesso ao centro histórico também é ótimo! Dá para ir caminhando tranquilamente. Quarto amplo, novo, bem equipado. Exatamente igual a foto. O único ponto que precisa melhorar é checkout.

La struttura è una posizione strategica, ma il pregio del palazzo e le finiture lussuose delle camere, l’hanno resa assolutamente perfetta per un weekend alla scoperta della meravigliosa Bari. I gestori sono stati molto disponibili, sia per il deposito dei bagagli, che per le informazioni turistiche. Consigliatissima!
