A lovely short break

Collette is a lovely host. She met us at the house a little earlier than our check in time which was very kind. She explained everything very well and was easily contactable. The little house is indeed little but it was perfect for us. The garden is lovely and spacious and catches the sun in the morning and evening so perfect for eating out for breakfast lunch and dinner! The property is very close to the beach so we had lovely evening walks down to Carpe Diem to have a pre-dinner drink. All in all a lovely short break even though we didn't have perfect weather!

Very pretty well-appointed cottage close to beach and shops in the heart of Cote des Isles

Perfect accommodation for a couple, this holiday cottage has a large garden with garden furniture, BBQ and sun-loungers. There is also a shed to secure bikes. The cottage was clean and beautifully decorated with all the appliances we needed for our holiday. Colette was a very welcoming host and was keen to give us an overview of the area, and the cottage had details on things to do and see in the locality. There is a tourist office in Barneville with very helpful staff and a fuller range of local information. The beach at Barneville is busy without being crowded and there is a safe swimming area patrolled by life-guards. There is a nice bar close to the beach and a well-stocked convenience store. Through the summer season there are regular markets selling good local produce as well as clothes and accessories. Local towns with markets and shops are Carteret and Portbaille, all within cycling distance. A little further afield is the town of Grandville, the D-Day landing beaches and museums and the port city of Cherbourg. There is also a safe cycle track - the velo vert which runs from Cherbourg to Mont-St-Michel. This was our third stay in Barneville and we always leave with a list of things to do the next time we visit!

Das kleine Haus ist ideal für 2 Personen. Wir haben selten ein Haus gesehen, dass so gut ausgestattet und sauber ist. Die Terrasse lädt zum Verweilen ein. Das Haus liegt in einer sehr ruhigen Gegend.

Ein wunderbarer Urlaub

Wir haben zwei Wochen im schönen Ferienhaus von Colette verbracht und uns sehr sehr wohlgefühlt. Der Garten, die schöne Terrasse, wo wir aufgrund des guten Wetters schon morgens zum Frühstück sitzen konnten, die Nähe zum Strand und zum Ort Barneville - es war für uns der perfekte Normandie-Urlaub.

Wunderschönes Haus mit tollem Garten.

Einer der schönsten Urlaube, die wir je hatten. Es ist ein wunderschöne Haus mit tollem Garten und Terrasse die zum verweilen einladen. Alles sehr gepflegt und sauber. In der Ausstattung des Hauses ist alles vorhanden was man braucht. Der Strand und das Dorf sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder😍

PERFEKT!!

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal für drei Wochen in diesem wunderschönen kleinen Häuschen. Es ist einfach perfekt. Alles passt. Angefangen beim freundlichem Empfang, über die Ausstattung und Einrichtung, bis hin zur Lage der Unterkunft. Es gibt einfach nichts auszusetzen. Hier kann man einen tollen, entspannten und ruhigen Urlaub verbringen!!

Eine kleine Perle "une petite maison" in Barneville-Carteret

Wir (Ehepaar, 61 und 57 Jahre) haben die Woche in dem petite maison sehr genossen. Die Ausstattung ist vorbildlich: eine komplette Küche inkl. ausreichend Besteck und Geschirr, Kaffeemaschine sowie Geschirrspüler, dazu auch noch eine Waschmaschine. Schlafraum und Diele / Essbereich sind ebenfalls sehr sympathisch eingerichtet. Ein weiteres highlight sind der grosse Garten und hierbei insbesondere die Holzterrasse: ein idealer Ort zum Frühstücken oder für den Cidre / Wein am Abend. Die Vermieterin ist ausserordentlich freundlich und war uns in jeglicher Form behilflich. Merci de tout cœur! Fazit: das petite maison ist eine Perle und uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen!

Gemütliches kleines Haus in Strandnähe

Wir haben uns in dem Haus sehr wohl gefühlt. Da wir die ganze Woche gutes Wetter hatten, haben wir uns viel im Garten aufgehalten. Daher war die Größe des Hauses vollkommen in Ordnung. Die Betten waren sehr bequem, weder zu hart noch durchgelegen. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und modern. Wir fanden es sehr schön, dass der Strand nur 10 Min. zu Fuß entfernt ist. Der Ort ist meist angenehm ruhig, nur beim Nachtmarkt drängeln sich die Menschen an den Ständen, was den Ort belebte und eine nette Abwechslung brachte. Zum Restaurant fährt man am besten nach Carteret. Madame Rougerie ist unglaublich freundlich und spricht sehr gut Englisch. Insgesamt hatten wir in diesem Ferienhaus einen sehr schönen Urlaub.

Klein und fein

Der Aufenthalt in diesem gemütlichen Häuschen war sehr schön, die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin perfekt. Die Umgebung nahe dem Strand und Carteret ist toll und bietet alles, Einkaufen, Badestrände, Restaurants, es ist alles gut zu erreichen. Auch im Garten kann man schön verweilen.
