Set in an elevated position with beautiful rural views next to the Homeowners working farm, visitors can enjoy lovely countryside walks straight from the front door.


A gravel driveway to the rear gives level access to the barn and the entrance leads directly into the open-plan kitchen/living/dining room with its Smart TV, DVD player and docking station. The large glass windows to the front of the property offer the most amazing views over Portmore Golf Course and the rolling countryside beyond. The open-plan design ensures you can even enjoy the views whilst cooking dinner or watching the TV. The living area has two comfortable sofas and doors which open out onto the enclosed garden with a paved patio area and table and chairs ideal for al fresco dining. The hallway leads to the modern bathroom with a shower over the bath and two spacious bedrooms: a king-size with countryside views and a TV, and a twin room. Outside in the parking area, a storage unit houses a washing machine, a tumble dryer and room for storing bikes.


This fine countryside retreat is within 3.5 miles of the historic market town of Barnstaple, which offers a choice of shops, restaurants and leisure facilities. The wonderful beaches of Saunton, Croyde and Woolacombe are all within 18 miles, and for keen cyclists, the Tarka Trail is nearby. For wild moorland, rivers and waterfalls, head to Exmoor National Park which can be reached within 12 miles. Or for pristine gardens, exhibitions and a welcoming restaurant, visit RHS Rosemoor (15 miles). Portmore Golf Club ins within a short drive and offers a driving range.
