Room furniture was old and used not hotel, bathroom had a slide barn door that did not close, shower door kept sliding open with nowhere to sit soaps, room exterior window was so dirty and water stained you could nor see out, lamp shade were crumpled the lamps were orange and unsuitable for hotel, tv kept glitching out to No Singnal and when I went to use room phone to call front desk it was out of service the cord was under the wall to the next room, breakfast wasn’t even close to warm ,no just creamers for coffee only some international crap, the dining room breakfast counter was so dirty the flower vase on it was stuck to it, all hallway fire doors were closed, it was like walking through a jail. Oh and there is more such a horrible stay we woke up at 4 am and just wanted to leave. We will not stay there again and what $225 for a nightmare not a comfort stay Nothing positive to say, horrible!

The hotel was okay, bed was comfortable. Room was clean. It’s is an older hotel, our room had been renovated, mostly. You could clearly tell what was new and what wasn’t. There were 2 electrical junctions in the wall that were covered by construction style metal plates. The stair wells are still very old and there is no elevator in the building, so only the 1st floor is accessible.

What’s up with all the 10/10 reviews?

I can’t understand all the really good reviews, which I used to make my decision. Here are a few problems: - there was a pervasive smell. Smoke maybe? - the breakfast was sparse. We ate next door at Tim Hortons in the end. - the windows were filthy - the bed pillows are literally the smallest I have ever seen - like throw pillows on a couch - the stairwells and entrances have not been unplanted or renovated (the rooms have been) - the FAN was soooooo loud all night! All this said, the man we met at check-in was sweet and kind. The location beside the highway, and a couple of good restaurants was convenient. The room was cheap and it was clean. I guess what more could I expect? It met our needs, but it’s nowhere near 10/10 in my experience.

Bad stay and bad service

The room was not clean the blankets and pillows had stains the heater was covered in mold would not recommend we had noise complaints but the staff ignored it and denied it when Expedia called and when I tried to speak to the manager they refused to assist and cousins provide any sort of assistance or compensation

Proximity to the highway was good, staff were friendly and attentive. The hotel is run down and has a bit of a tacky modern vibe. Can't really complain much for the price point but I chose this hotel for the ratings it had and was a bit disappointed.
