Check in was great, but after that, TV did not work, Clock in the room did not work, the bathroom was awful, damage to the door, missing tile trim, a dirty face cloth left on shower rod, NO hot water first day for shower and no working Fan in bathroom !

In a handicapped room a walk in shower would be best, but a minimum an easy to control HOT water tap (it got very hot, very fast) and a less slippery surface/bath mat. All else good,

The room was listed as wheel chair accessible. I assumed this would mean a higher toilet, accessible shower, bathroom grab bars to help get on and off toilet. This room was only wheel chair accessible on one side of bed. A wheel chair would not fit on patio side. The toilet was very low, so it was impossible to go from wheel chair to toilet and back again. I used the door handle as a grab bar to get off the toilet. I had planned to take a shower but could not get into the tub. We often come to Barrie and always use the Days Inn. I just had surgery and was very dissapppointed in this experience. the room struggled to get off the toilet and
