I liked the comfy beds, the very nice primary bathroom (especially the shower which is equipped with double shower heads and handheld shower heads), and the kitchen. The Keurig with provided pods was convenient. The host was very promptly responsive to my questions and came over with space heaters when the furnace needed resetting, which was done within a few hours by the technician without disturbing us. The view of the river was nice. We watched swans and sailboats go by. Just be aware that there are no window coverings on most of the windows in the main area. You enter the house through the basement and up a steep flight of stairs to the kitchen. That can be awkward with luggage and groceries but of course you could go up and then unlock the front door from inside. The one thing I’d like to see is a pitcher in the kitchen. I like to keep a pitcher of iced tea in the fridge but we couldn’t find one so we made do with a quart measuring cup.

This property is beautiful inside and out. We had a few camp fires by the water and it was just so relaxing. The host is fabulous, so helpful and close by in case you need something. We just love it and have rented here twice. You won't be disappointed.

We enjoyed our few days here. The house was very clean and extremely well stocked. Bedding and towels were soft and comfortable. Very nice view of the water and easy access to great restaurants and shopping. Local beaches are a bit rocky, but we made good use of the bay with paddle boards. Very quiet residential area.

Wonderful place!

The house and area were beautiful. Loved watching the boats go by. Everything we needed was available to us. We had a fantastic time. Tom was very helpful for any questions we had about the house or local restaurants. It was a great vacation!!

Wonderful waterfront property in Barrington! Stunning views, very clean, and the location is great.

My husband, 5-year old, and I had such an incredible time at this waterfront property in Barrington! Soo peaceful. The views were simply stunning. We enjoyed watching the boats go by, spending time out on the deck, and evening walks with breathtaking views from all angles. If you wake up early enough, grab a cup of coffee and watch the sunrise, simply beautiful. The house itself was very clean, and well-maintained. The comfortable beds gave us a great night’s sleep. The owner/manager was also incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Any questions you may have will be answered right away. They were even nice to give us a list of their favorite restaurants/shops, which made it very helpful. Everything is within short distance. We highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation in Barrington! We will definitely be back and staying at this home again!
The Wharf Tavern- directly across on the other side of the water. Great restaurant.
After grabbing a cup of coffee, I enjoyed the beautiful sunrise!
