2BR Jungle cottage with Toucans, Mountains and Waterfalls!

This is the extra guest cottage on property of a large upscale home in a secluded jungle setting - VRBO #5031928. LosAiresCR is a large upscale estate set on 60 acres of secluded tropical forest, with warm days cool evenings, replete with its own amazing waterfalls, swimming holes, private pool/spa and hiking trails. LosAiresCR is fully staffed with housekeeping and concierge services provided.

The large garden area in front of the cottage provides a perfect dark sky setting to enjoy star gazing.

LosAiresCR is a bird watchers paradise and has amazing wildlife viewing right from the house. Toucans, hummingbirds, our resident sloth, howler monkeys and wildlife galore are all found here in our hillside setting. All of the wildlife photos shown were taken on site. You will have access to acres of tropical forest with tended trails. The area around LosAiresCR is quiet and safe. Feel free to walk as far as you like on the miles of country roads and enjoy the sounds and serenity of the rain forest. The spectacular 165 ft tall waterfall in the Emerald City is one of the best kept secrets in the area and is a beautiful hike from the property (accessible in the dry season only) Our staff will provide guided hikes to the local waterfalls and swimming holes - we count at least 8 within easy walking distance.

Our concierge, Esteban, is at your service throughout your stay. There is a staff member available 24/7 to assist with any urgencies.

The garden building has 3 air-conditioned rooms and a large patio space. There are two bedrooms, each with a queen bed and en-suite bathroom, a studio apartment with kitchenette and living area. An outdoor sitting area connects the rooms. Bunk beds are also available in the living area. Rate includes 4 guests. Additional guests are $29 p/p/n. max occupancy 6.

Satellite internet provided. While in the guest cottage you are just minutes to the creek, the river and the waterfalls. You will be surrounded by rainforest accessed by tended hiking trails. Feel free to walk as far as you like on the miles of country roads and enjoy the sounds and serenity of the rain forest.

From the property one can hike to no less than eight amazing waterfalls and swimming holes. We are a short drive to the breath taking Nauyaca Waterfalls, deserted palm strung Pacific beaches, Manuel Antonio National Park and the EcoChontales. Enjoy plenty of jungle adventures such as river trekking, hiking, ATVs and horseback riding. Seasonal whale watching from Uvita and the Ballena National Marine Park are 50 minutes away. There are multiple options for white water rafting (seasonal) and deep sea fishing from the new Quepos marina.

LosAiresCR is 3.5 hours from SJO airport. 30 minutes by car from Dominical or San Isidro de El General. Keep in mind that 4x4 is requisite to safely navigate the local gravel roads, especially when wet.

There are multiple restaurants, a pizzeria, cevicheria and two local supermarkets along the main highway - just minutes from the property.
