Bassens is located in Savoie in the Chambéry agglomeration at the foot of the Nivolet and Mont Peney, peaks of the Bauges massif and regional park.
The accommodation is located in a rather residential area with easy road access leading to the various surrounding mountain ranges.
The Leysse River flows a few hundred meters from the accommodation (this river partly gives its name to the town of Saint Alban Leysse and flows into Lake Bourget). If you follow it upstream towards the place called "Le Bout du Monde" (The End of the World), you can recharge in a small, unspoiled natural setting at the foot of a small waterfall. This spot can be the starting point for several hikes or mountain bike rides.
You will also find several major retailers and shopping centers approximately 300 meters from the accommodation, which is less than a 10-minute walk.
Although very well located, due to its geographical position, it is preferable to come by car especially if you want to travel to the larger cities around (Aix Les Bains, Chambéry, Annecy, Grenoble, ...).
