Rooms are spacious and very clean! Continental Breakfast package was good but the items did not vary in 6 days. By the second day of our stay we noticed to that some items from the continental breakfast buffet, such as, bacon, sweet bread, sausages, just to name a few, were being rationed and/or removed. When other guests came to eat the staff did not always inform the guests of options to order missing items on the “continental buffet” breakfast. The pool needed cleaning. Lots of mosquitoos in the lobby area. The hotel is on the Atlantic side with rough water. It is not near a swimmable beach. Although the hotel offers a shuttle to other nice beaches, the staff tries to price gouge you or tell you that you must pay for a free shuttle services that was originally included in your package or as advertised by the hotel. As well, after each daily attempt with the reception to schedule a shuttle, you must negotiate a time (usually the shuttle by car leaves at 11:30am and picks you up at 4ish, to bring you back to the hotel. The drivers are very nice and will provide good information and suggestions that can enhance your trip. The food at the restaurant was fantastic with fair portions.

I had a really nice stay and my room was beautiful. The staff was accommodating and super helpful. The food was delicious and the property was peaceful. I will stay here again. The only downside was the abundance of mosquitoes in the lobby and the dining area.

The front staff was great and very friendly. The cleaning staff needs help. They never swept the sand out of the room, never replenished the shampoo or conditioner, wash cloths, or the sugar for the instant coffee in the room which is all they offered. They also didn't clean the hair out of the drain. To get ice for your room, you had to go down to the restaurant for it. Out of 2 elevators, 1 didn't work 8 of the 10 days we were there. The other, the button didn't work on the 4th floor for at least 3 days. Coffee down at the restaurant cost $9 USD for 2 cups. The continental breakfast cost $20 and the birds land on the tongs that are supposed to be used to get the food. We decided to order eggs, sausage/bacon and toast off the menu. We were told we have to get the meats and toast off of the continental and we would have to make our own toast. If we wanted scrambled eggs, we had to get them there as well. The site doesn't have much to offer except for the restaurant and pool. No beach access there. Luckily, we rented a car so was able to go other places without having to waiting on a taxi all the time. Again, very friendly staff but it doesn't have much to offer.

This property is in an area designated as “out of town.” This allows the hotel and taxis to charge ridiculous prices for transportation anywhere. The hotel shuttle service offers one “free” journey to and from one beach on the island. Nowhere in the hotel literature does it say that there is no access to the beach, although the outdoor pictures online make it appear so. Very limited food menu. The staff are polite but timid. However, one driver and a waitress were the exception to that and helped to make our stay memorable. This hotel does not feel like a home away from home. The management come across as cheap and unwilling to go the extra mile. Rooms very clean however the dining area could do with some love, windows need cleaning. Overall, if you want a low key, quiet vacation this could be your place but if you want to explore rent a car to get out as constant taxi fares are costly and the hotel can feel isolated.
