My birthday break

No welcome just a envelope stuck to the front door with instructions inside. Room dated . Bathroom shower dated. Definitely not an executive suite as advertised. Next morning saw a member of staff. Still no welcome. Breakfast ok . Returned 2nd day to 2 more envelopes stuck on front door . Breakfast following morning was ok . No goodbyes on leaving . Just a comment " you've paid ". Not really the way to make customers feel. Very impersonal guest house. More like lodgings .

Location was good but....

Pros: location
Cons: The shower was hopeless - when from freezing cold to boiling hot and back and forth continually - virtually impossible to have a decent shower.
The Location was great, convenient to town - downhill on the way and close to the bus for the way back. The staff were friendly enough at breakfast. The room was expensive for what you get - $184 for a third floor very small room with a slanting roof above the bed and a terrible shower, no internet on the third floor. They had a tiny hairdryer in the room but gave me a proper one when I asked. Breakfast was ok but no fresh fruit.

24 hours in bath

Pros: friendly people,breakfast,roomsize,off road parking,heating was on,safe area
Cons: nil
Location: 15 min walk into bath
very nice guesthouse,generous breakfast,clean good sized rooms,very helpful staff

Hotel was nice. However, hardly saw any of the staff. I called and text one night to staff requesting milk Andy got a reply an hour later but still no milk. I am a very friendly person and I do think there should have been staff available to say hi. At breakfast the older staff were welcoming but younger lady who served us could have made more of an effort to smile. Not much conversation!
