It’s all been taken care of in this boutique 2 bedroom retreat for 3 behind Bath’s Royal Circus. With a designated car parking space, great places to dine nearby, unique shops and galleries across the street and a short stroll past handsome Georgian architecture to the city centre, you can make the most of city life in style and comfort.

So central that nothing is more than a 5 minute walk away. Victoria park with its tennis courts and crazy golf, the Approach 18 hole golf course and of course all the restaurants and wonderful shops

An elegant open-plan interior in natural and restful colours combines living and dining. A large comfortable sofa seats up to 3 along with an armchair placed beside a long media unit with TV, DVD, and Bluetooth portable radio (with adaptor for i-pods and phone downloads) and a selection of films, books and games. A large round dining table seats 4 with a pretty sideboard with storage. There is a small desk near the entrance, along with Wi-Fi and a phone for local calls. Double French doors overlook a planted courtyard with mews houses and parking.

The smart contemporary kitchen is in a compact ‘U’-shape with taupe stone worktops and glossy white units. The units below house a dishwasher, a washing machine combined with dryer, a small fridge and separate freezer. There is a 4 ring gas hob with electric oven and microwave and plenty of smart crockery and cookware in the units above.

Upstairs is a smart double room in grey and silver, with two bedside chests, two 3’ single beds that zip and link to become a 6’ double and a large fitted wardrobe with shelves for further storage.

A pretty single room in taupe and silver has a 3’ single bed and similar bedside chest and tall boy for storage with hanging space in hall cupboard.

A spacious contemporary grey and white bathroom has a bath with shower over, a hand basin with storage under and a WC with shelf space for toiletries.

There is a designated parking space immediately in front of the french doors at the back of the property. Alternatively the Bath Spa train or coach stations are a 15-20 minute walk away or a short taxi.

Beautiful apartment … with parking!

We couldn’t have asked for any more. The apartment was accurately described online. On our arrival, the letting agent was quick to respond to our request for a fan needed due to almost heatwave conditions. The apartment was roomy, comfortable and set up to a high standard including large, fluffy towels and quality toiletries. Parking in Bath is a nightmare so having a dedicated car park on-site was a bonus. The Royal Crescent and The Circus are just around the corner. One consideration is that the apartment is about 10-15 minutes uphill from the Abbey and Roman Baths. Unless you have mobility issues, however, the walk “home” is relatively easy. To summarise, we can highly recommend both the property and the agents, Bath Holiday Rentals.

Great stay in Bath

Our only suggestion is that checkin include a primer on British appliances for your North American guests. Also, being in our seventies, a grab bar for the tub would be appreciated!

Great stay...place was very clean with nice updates...walking distance to all the shopping/dining/etc. in Bath. Good communication and organization. Only suggestion would be to mark the designated parking spot...when we arrived someone was in our designated spot. Staff advised there was nothing to be done other than leave a note...fortunately we were able to find another spot and the car moved the next day. This did not detract from our stay and this place is highly recommended...

Bath holiday home

The house is well positioned for central Bath with almost all local places to see in walking distance. Town centre parking can be a bit tricky and expensive. The house is great for two - three people but no more, also would not recommend for disabled persons. The information booklet supplied by the owners needs to be updated as we found some of the places and things to do out of date and not factual. We was told that we only had one set of towels each for a whole week, which I found to be not sufficient and would recommend a change of towels at least once to be supplied. Overall though I would return to this property if staying in Bath again.

Perfect accommodation for visit to Bath !

From the moment we booked this property we were impressed with the communications we received and upon arrival all our expectations were met. A charming property- within the heart of the city and the availability of a parking space was a real bonus. The property was decorated impeccably, clean, warm and inviting with many extra touches including a welcome pack which was greatly appreciated after a long journey. We will definitely return.

Bath short stay

Our travel down was horrendous in rain, but once we got there our mood was lifted by the property which is compact in size but very warm, comfortable, everything you need and ideally located. We had a great few days with a short walk into town, Royal Crescent around the corner and gorgeous traditional family Italian restaurant minutes away. A home from home in terms of the property, and ideal to spend great few days in Bath.

Perfect in every way!

We stayed in this property for 3 nights. It was perfect for my husband, son and I. It is in an ideal location in Bath and we could walk to all the sites, shopping and restaurants. The property is lovely, clean and very tastefully decorated. Five star in every way! Hope to revisit Bath and would stay here again!

Great house in great neighborhood

Our family of three really enjoyed this house. The woman from the rental agency who met us at the place was really nice, responsive to texts/calls, punctual, and full of good info (for newbies to Bath). The house is comfortable -- beds and furniture, all good. The neighborhood was terrific -- felt safe, in the Circus area, about a half-mile from "downtown" Bath. Totally walkable, but far enough away that it got quiet at night. Close to the Circus, the Royal Crescent, Victoria park, at least two grocery stores, and a few great restaurants. The Circus Restaurant, in particular, deserves a recommendation -- really cozy restaurant with amazing, fresh food.

Wonderful property right at the middle of historic Bath

A family of three stayed in this house for 4 nights. It's a delight! Perfect in each and every way, it has everything a person would need. Fully remodeled, beautiful, tastefully decorated, fully stocked with everything, conveniently located closed to all that Bath has to offer. Close walk to restaurants (and some very good ones too - we loved The Circus), grocery stores, parks, stores, etc. Thermae Spas and historic attractions are a short stroll away. We would be hard pressed to find anything that was less than stellar. Owners are very attentive, responsive and accommodating. We'll definitely be back.

We had a delightful stay at the River Street Mews. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. Everything worked and the location was to die for. We really appreciated the gifts form the folks with Bath Holiday Rentals! We arrived late in the day, and they had given us a bottle of wine, cereal and milk for the morning and lots of other treats. It made our stay even nicer. Bath is a beautiful city, and as a result very popular. The apartment was an easy walk to city center and even closer was a co-op grocery and the best Italian Restaurant we could find.

Comfortable, quiet and well furnished

The property has everything you need to feel at home while on vacation. The kitchen is well stocked, the bathroom is modern, the living room and the bedrooms are comfortably furnished. A supermarket and a restaurant are just around the corner. It is about 15 minutes walk to the city center and about 20 minutes to the station bath spa. The only criticism was the TV. In the evening there were many programs disturbances. But watching TV is not so important on vacation, maybe when it rains a lot. We would definitely rent this property again and can recommend it with a good conscience.

The perfect base for exploring Bath!

The house was very comfortably furnished and was spotlessly clean. The location was great -very near to the park and lots of restaurants - and whilst everything was within walking distance, the actual road still seemed quiet and tucked away. The lady who met us was very welcoming and friendly. The kitchen was very well equipped (although we ate out an awful lot - you won't go hungry in Bath!). Bath is brilliant with loads to do - we shall definitely be returning to River Street Mews!
