Golf and Casino weekend

We stayed here 3 nights for a golf and casino play weekend. House was perfect for us, comfortable and clean. Didn’t use the lake but it would be fun to rent a pontoon and float around. Saw many bass being caught by fisherman near the property.

Beautiful location; glitches with the property

We came for a family reunion in Battle Creek, and we looked for a house where we could stay with our toddler. The house is situated on a beautiful lake with great views, and it’s a huge place. We ran into glitches with the stay—we didn’t get the check in details, so we couldn’t get in when we arrived (and had a trunk of groceries in the hot sun). It took an hour to get the code from the property manager. Luckily the side door was unlocked and we could let ourselves in (although not great there’s open doors). It turned out the side doors didn’t lock easily, and we had to spend a lot of time before we’d leave to secure them. The house was also missing basic things—for instance, we had to buy our own soap to wash our hands in the kitchen and several bathrooms. Overall, good experience, but some kinks.
