The Lazy Fox Lodge is near all the action! We are 3 miles from Wheelers Point public landing, 10 miles from Zipple Bay State Park, 12 miles from Baudette, 3 miles from Oak Harbor Golf Course 1 mile from Lake of the Woods Campground, the snowmobile trail is in our back yard and there are 100's of thousands of acres of public sporting land nearby.


We have 3 LARGE bedrooms with plenty of space for the whole family beds for up to 10 but plenty of room for air mattresses if needed! Living room with TV, DVD player and gas fire place, full kitchen with all the utensils ( including 2 coffee pots, instant pot/air fryer, toaster, microwave, and dishwasher), full laundry with filet area, sink, cutting boards and filet knives to process your catch, gas and Charcoal grills, and a portable pellet pizza oven.

Outside we have a covered porch, camp fire area, and 40x30 shop in which you are welcome to park your boats or other toys to keep them dry and prepare them for the next day's adventure.
During your stay at this vacation home, you'll be close to Oak Harbor Golf Course. Laundry facilities are available. Enjoy your stay with amenities like a kitchen and 2 bathrooms in the vacation home.

The host requires you complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items and remove leftover food and drinks
Turn off the lights
Turn heat down to 65 on both thermostats (in winter). Turn of air conditioner (in summer)
Dispose of your own garbage. Due to bears getting to it weekly before the garbage man, we no longer offer garbage service. Boarder bait and tackle charges a minimal fee to use their dumpster.
Wipe off all counters and tables. Thoroughly clean the grills and fish cleaning area. They should look and smell like they were never used.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

We had a fantastic weekend staying at this VRBO. The home was perfect for our large ice fishing group—clean, comfortable, and just what we were looking for: a simple, well-equipped space with an open floor plan and multiple bathrooms. The bedrooms and bathrooms were neat and tidy, the kitchen was organized, and the house stayed nice an warm throughout the cold February.The fully stocked kitchen made preparing meals together easy and enjoyable, which our group really appreciated.Working with the owner was a breeze—he was responsive, and his directions for accessing the property were clear and straightforward.Overall, it was a wonderful stay. We would absolutely recommend this home, and we’d love to make it an annual trip. We would have zero hesitation rebooking. Thank you for providing such a great space for our weekend!

2025 LOWT Fishing Trip.

Great property not far off the beaten path. Is close to a public boat landing as well as may resorts. Like the garage to put your boat in at night to keep out of the weather. Cabin very nice. Highly recommend to fishermen with just guys or with the family.

A group of fisherman stayed at the Lazy Fox. The accomodations were everything as advertised. The house was spacious, the large table accommodated all of us well, everyone commented on how comfortable the beds were (mine was a Tempupedifoam!)

LOW annual fishing trip

5 of us stayed at the Lazy Lodge. We were there to fish. Weather didn’t cooperate with us for fishing. We absolutely loved the property and the pole building on site where we enjoyed playing bean bags. They had everything we needed. We will be back.
