This was such a unique and quaint hotel! It’s an older building but the rooms have been remodeled wonderfully and everything is very up to date. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful as well.

This is a beautiful historic motel in downtown Beaufort. Rooms are very clean. Upstairs rooms also are very clean, but there are remnants smells typical of quaint antebellum homes. There is no elevator, except for a small 2-person lift for handicapped. Plan to heft your luggage up and down stairs. Breakfast was lovely with a full hot and cold buffet.

The only drawback was that our room had a vent in the bathroom that ran all the time when the light was on, but there was no separate heat in the bathroom besides the central heat and air.

Simple place - no glamor or character

Quick overnight stay. Staff was friendly. Was REALLY ANNOYED, however, that there is a charge for parking. I was a guest of the hotel - there was a sign for windshield if you’re a guest - that should be ENOUGH.
