The villa "Duxcaar" is situated on a 23,000 sqm plot in a very quiet area in the heart of the Périgord. The villa has a large pool and is surrounded by a 200m2 sun terrace, which is partly covered. A large barbeque area and high-quality seating and loungers allow a perfect vacation. If required, a guest cottage can also be rented.

The 260sqm living space is elegantly furnished in a country house style and technically up to date. This also includes the charging station for the electric car.

In the cool season, a fireplace invites you to cozy hours and in the garden you will see a deer passing by every now and then.

Try your skills on the hasue's own boules alley and even in the hottest summer you will always find a shady place to relax under old trees.

The property is beautiful and well equipped. The location and surrounding area is also beautiful. We spent a lot of time in the pool relaxing and having fun, a lovely family holiday.

We stayed for 2 weeks at this property with our 3 children aged 11, 13 and 16 and have been so impressed with everything. The property is clean, fresh and tastefully decorated, with all amenities for a very comfortable stay. Rooms are spacious with comfortable beds, chairs and couches, and good lighting throughout. Lots of attention to small detail (e.g enough socket outlets, and bedside lights). The large gardens are beautifully kept and we had an abundant supply of fresh plums throughout our stay. The owner even kindly offered us to take some home with us. There was also plenty of shady areas for the very hot days. The pool was well heated and well serviced. The property is situated in an extremely quiet area, surrounded by woods and nut orchards, which made for a very peaceful and relaxing stay, yet still close enough to amenities and nice days out. Any little questions or concerns were responded to immediately and taken care of instantly. Owner and property manager, as well as cleaner were all very helpful and pleasant. Would definitely recommend this property and would love to visit again.

Very peaceful relaxing stay and swimming already in April

Villa Duxcaar is the perfect location for a sunny stay in the heart of the Perigord. We already have been able to use the pool due to solar heating. It is a very well equipped house, quiet in the nature but not isolated and many nice restaurants just a few minutes away. We will come back later this year
