I have stayed here several times several years ago & they stays were excellent. I wanted to splurge & bring my 80 yr old mom here as a treat. I was appalled at the room we were put in. We had to go down past the fountain with a full trolley & then go out a door & then go back in to the building. There was no elegance that i had described to my mom. The ac in our room wouldnt cool properly & the remote was very hard for my mom to operate. I was so embarrassed & felt like a 2nd rate citizen. My poor mom didnt understand why we didnt get to go up the elevators by the front desk like i am use to.

We stay in Beaumont a few times a year while visiting family, and the last three times have stayed at Elegante. Yes, it is an older hotel so you will see rust here and there, but the rooms are always spotlessly clean, the beds are comfortable, and there is plenty of room to move around. The staff are friendly and efficient, always with a 'good morning' or 'welcome home'. But honestly my favorite part is the restaurant food! We've never actually eaten in the restaurant, just ordered while sitting in the bar. I highly recommend the club sandwich. One of the best I've ever had! The complimentary breakfast buffet is pretty good too. Overall, if you're not expecting "luxury" (let's face it, that doesn't exist in Beaumont) then Elegante is a solid choice.

The room was in great condition only problem was the doors were unlocked when we entered the building from the back and there were homeless people entering the building as well i assume they must secretly stay there as well. We did notice when we got up to leave they were gone so I subjust they start locking all doors .anyone can walk in there that’s so scary but the place is beautiful.

This hotel is beautiful and the staff will go above and beyond to help you. We asked for help to find our room and Mrs Anita aka Auntie, as she told us to call her, was exceptionally nice, she took us all the way to our room showing us all the services on our way including free laundry, swimming pool, etc, She even took us to an outside patio that you can grill on. If she would be promoted to a host this hotel would have a waiting list to stay here.

I can't imagine who thought this was a four star hotel. It barely meets 3. The room had a constant electronic hum and unusual smell. The shower had almost no pressure. Breakfast did not have coffee available to pick up and go - you had to wait for the person at the Starbucks counter. The only positive i can state is the front desk ataff were very nice.
