Tucked away in the picturesque village of Pondrôme, this unique holiday home-once a charming railway station-offers a spacious and inviting, is a perfect getaway for family or a group of friends. With comfortable bedrooms (including two ensuite rooms), a well-equipped kitchen, and communal areas.
Pets are warmly welcome! Enjoy walks along the rivers or venture out for a dog-friendly day trip to the Tootbus tour in Brussels or the scenic Koerich Castle ruins across the border in Luxembourg. Start your mornings with fresh pastries from the local bakery just 100 meters away, then explore the surrounding forests and rivers like the Snaye and Winbe-ideal for nature walks, cycling, or a riverside picnic. The large garden is perfect for outdoor relaxation, complete with barbecue, plancha grill, and plenty of seating. Explore the famous Grottes de Han-sur-Lesse and its stunning wildlife park which are just 20 km away. History buffs will enjoy Château de Lavaux-Sainte-Anne (10 km), while Castel de Beauraing and the Tour du Millénaire offer scenic beauty and heritage nearby. Ein wunderschönes, geräumiges und sehr sauberes Haus mit einem komplett umzäunten Garten. Es ist hervorragend ausgestattet: Jedes Zimmer verfügt über ein eigenes Bad mit WC, was äußerst komfortabel ist. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Die authentische Café-Atmosphäre mit Bar und Barhockern trug zum Charme des Hauses bei. Gelegentlich fährt ein Zug vorbei, was sogar für die Kinder eine willkommene Abwechslung war – ganz ohne Lärmbelästigung. Die Gegend ist ruhig. Ein kleiner, aber gut sortierter Supermarkt mit frischem Brot ist fußläufig erreichbar, ein großer Supermarkt nur 5 Autominuten entfernt. In der Umgebung gibt es viel zu entdecken und zu unternehmen. Wir waren mit zwei Familien hier, und das Haus war perfekt für uns. Wir hatten einen fantastischen Aufenthalt und können es uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Eine wirklich coole Location und ein origineller Aufenthalt in einem umgebauten Bahnhof. Einige Mängel: kein heißes Wasser in der Küche oder Dusche im Erdgeschoss (bei der Ankunft). sehr schlechte Pfannen und Töpfe, vieles zu kurz in einer gewöhnlichen Küche, defekter Herd, viele kaputte Lichter - auch in der Küche, z. B. aus der Dunstabzugshaube, sodass es wirklich dunkel war, Grill in fragwürdigem Zustand ... Eigentlich sowieso eine ganze Liste. Aber das Haus selbst war etwas Besonderes. Direkt neben einer Eisenbahn, die davon überraschend unberührt ist. Die Lage ist auch ok, mitten in einem kleinen Dorf mit einem kleinen Supermarkt in unmittelbarer Nähe. Zentral gelegen für Ausflüge und Wanderungen. Mit etwas weiterer Renovierung und besserer Bestandsverfolgung wäre der Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gewesen.

Vi havde en fantastisk tid i den gamle station! Stedet er super hyggeligt og har masser af plads til alle, Køkkenet var godt udstyret, vi lavede middag hver aften, Haven var perfekt til børnene at løbe rundt, og vi nød en dejlig grill, Plus, landsbyen har alt, hvad du behøver - bageri, supermarked og nogle gode restauranter i nærheden, Jeg vil helt klart anbefale det til en afslappende weekend væk, Ville bo der igen i en heartbeat!
