About this property

4 Twin Bunk Site - Great for Groups!

Our Four Twin Bunk Tent Sites feature two twin bunk beds and sleep up to four guests individually, making them a favorite for friends traveling together, mountain bikers, and anyone who wants their own bed after a full day outside.
These thoughtfully equipped glamping (or ultra-camping) tents are simple, social, and designed for easy group stays. Each tent is warmed by a propane fireplace, keeping things cozy in every season.
The Base Lodge bathhouse offers four modern bathrooms and showers, open 24 hours, fully stocked with towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hairdryers.
Our Camp Store has you covered with ice, firewood, groceries, outdoor gear, and a lending library of books and games—perfect for relaxed evenings after a long ride or trail day. Wi-Fi is intentionally not available at the tents (but device charging is!), encouraging off-grid time together. Guest Wi-Fi is available at the Base Lodge. There is no electricity at your site, but a Jackery power station is provided to help charge devices.
Here’s everything available for your site — you’ll select your specific gear after you book. You design your days and nights!
• 3 Barebones rechargeable lanterns
• 2 flashlights
• Solar-powered Jackery power station
• Breeo X Series fire pit with grilling tools
• 1 complimentary bundle of firewood per stay
• 5-gallon water dispenser
• Enamel dishware
• Flatware and serving utensils; chef, paring & steak knives; veggie peeler; scissors
• Cookware
• Corkscrew, bottle opener, can opener, colander, French press, kettle
• Dish tub, drying rack, dish soap, scrubber, paper towels, foil
• Bedding and pillows

Guests also enjoy 24-hour access to Base Lodge restrooms and showers, the option to borrow books and games from the Camp Store, and access to the pool, hot tub, sauna, and lakeshore next door at Cove Point Lodge on Lake Superior.
During your stay at this campground, you're just a quick walk from Lake Superior.
  • Just a 4-minute walk from Cove Point Loop Trailhead and 7 minutes by foot from Lake Superior
This campground offers its guests barbecue grills. The front desk is open around the clock.

This Beaver Bay campground is smoke free.

Coastal adventures

Northshore Camping Co. in Beaver Bay is an absolute gem! Nestled among tall, whispering pines and just a short stroll from the breathtaking Lake Superior shoreline, this spot was everything we were hoping for and more. The cool coastal breeze added the perfect touch to our stay—refreshing, peaceful, and invigorating. The campsite was thoughtfully designed and impeccably maintained, blending comfort with the natural beauty of the North Shore. Whether we were relaxing by the fire pit, sipping coffee under the canopy of trees, or exploring nearby trails, every moment felt like a retreat. If you're looking for a serene place to unwind, reconnect with nature, and enjoy the best of Minnesota's North Shore, this is it. We’ll definitely be back!
